Posh spice

project: Eleanor Socks
source: Free Pattern - Socktopia
yarn: Posh Yarn Lucia Sock - 1 hank
color: Scuffle
needles: #1 dpns

I don’t really know what to say about these socks…

…beautiful yarn, great pattern. Love.

A chill is starting to creep into the nights, so sweaters are being cast on and planned as fast as my hands can start them.

Here’ the progress on the Tangled Yoke Cardigan. I had to get some metal circs for this one. It seems the Rowanspun dk and Denise needles don’t play nice together, too sticky. So while I was waiting to go needle shopping…

…yet another sweater just started itself when I wasn’t looking. This one is Linden, from the RYC book Classic Alpaca. The yarn is RYC cashsoft dk in Mirage. Heavenly.
And since I’d really like to squeeze in 1 more pair of socks before SOS officially closes, here’s a start on the Little Child’s Sock from Knitting Vintage Socks.

Can I get all these socks finished? Will I be able to control my startitis enough to stick with these sweaters, or will more sweaters find their way onto my needles? Will that darn Thermal ever be blocked and photographed!? Stay tuned…

I am loving your Tangled Yoke Cardi…the color is fab. I am still stuck in the ribbing of mine. I wish it was a faster knit!

Great Sock pattern! I like the way they turned out with that incredible colorway.
You are going to have some wonderful knitted sweaters to wear for the cold temps headed our way:) I wished I had a stack of beautiful handknit sweaters in my closet to look forward to. It takes me forever to knit one. That CPH is still in the bin waiting for a snowed in day to be worked on again.LOL

Love those Eleanor socks! Your TYC is going to be beautiful! That’s why I have to have different needles, you never know what your yarn is going to do. I have some Rowanspun also, good to know. Linden is going to be really lovely as well!

Love those Posh Spices! Very pretty combination of yarn to pattern. Of course if those socks really embodied the essence of Posh they would only cover your big toe, be shiny and have a publiscist…Yours are much nicer.

Great color for your Tangled Yoke Cardigan! Are you getting gauge on the same size needles called for in the pattern? I have some orange Rowanspun dk and started up the same sweater, but it seemed to be coming out huge… ~gabriella
