irish hiking wristwarmers

These were finished a while ago, lounging in front of the tv. Around here, the weather can’t decide whether it’s early spring or dead of winter from day to day, so sinus headaches and 31 days of Oscar on Turner, have kept me AFK but still knitting strong.

Mainly, I’ve just been in a ‘get winter over with already’ funk lately. But knitting heals all crankiness, calms my nerves and keeps me from glaring out the window (buying yarn also helps—I know, ANY excuse. Anyone else score some Sweet Georgia from Loopy Ewe last week?)

There’s a whole lotta sweater knitting going on during my hiatus too, so more finished knits coming up. Here’s a little peek at another new project speeding it’s way off my busy needles (even if I’m moving very little, at least my hands are working overtime!)

new project

It’s been going so quickly, it’ll be a finished knit any day now. Any guesses?

As a matter of fact I didn’t score any Sweet Georgia, but I’m not bitter or anything!

Yes, the weather is messing with my mind as well. Love your wrist warmers and thanks for reminding that I better finish that Irish Hiking scarf pronto before it becomes the 1 year anniversary of putting it on the needles!

I was wondering when you would post next. Soon it will be spring and it is lighter longer - what more could we ask for?

Uggg… I hear you about the warmer weather and finished wristwarmers. I just finished a pair for myself last night and it was 93 degrees here yesterday. Lame.

The wristwarmers look great. Is it me or are they a bit stripey or variagated? Maybe it’s just my brain.

Love the armwarmers! They are so darling.

Your Wicked is looking so cute. I am finding it is a really quick knit. Hopefully, I can finish mine soon. Can’t wait to see yours.

Love the wristwarmers, great for winter/spring days. I’m guessing Wicked for the seater, but I know I’m not the first to say that!!

I’m guessing a sweater but I’m not sure.

Glad to read that someone else is suffering with sinus problems — not that I want you to suffer, of course, but misery does love good knitting company. :)
