Late to the Party…
Now I know it’s already December, but that doesn’t mean the socks aren’t still knitting along around here.

Although other projects kept these on the needles a while, now that they’re done I can truly say I’ve got chocolately, happy feet. They’re comfy and make me smile; it seems my luck with good symmetry is holding steady (so far!)
They’ll be more socks to come soon…
…but for now, more sweaters are on the horizon!
This is the back piece of Hudson, from Noro Knits, completed a few days ago. I have wanted to make this one for a while, and a timely sale at Little Knits (where else?) and the perfect colorway, loved on sight here, made this project jump to the front of the line.
Yep, another hooded cardigan. I know I’ve missed Norovember, but hopefully this finished knit will be half as amazing as some other noro artisans’. More on this, and alpaca sweater progress next time.
sKNITches update: will be tomorrow, Wednesday, Dec. 6th at 11 a.m. EST. The premiere of the new variegated yarn has arrived. Also, everyone on the mailing list will be getting their emails today (and from now on, the day before the update), so as to give more time to snatch up their favorites before they’re gone.

Can’t thank you enough for taking these great close up photos of your socks on the heels and all. It’s always so helpful to see such details. What heel flap is this? I don’t have this book. Love when you knit up your own yarn so I can see what is looks like, the pattern or stripes it makes.
This is going to be another master piece of a sweater:)

these are handsome socks!!! I love the colorway, and the pattern. I made these in another yarn, but I am not sure I like the seam in the back of the heel.

Your socks almost coordinate with your sweater! I think when we find colorways we like we tend to choose them over and over because we know they’ll be so good!

Once again Sknitches yarn is controlling my mind and making me want to own more of it….love those brown socks, they’re classic. I’m knitting up some socks in ‘Carousel’ right now and will send you a pic when I’m done…yeah, sometime in March!:)
