After a long day out yesterday visiting friends, what should I come home to but BOTH glorious packages I’ve been anxiously awaiting. WOOHOO!

second KnitPastis swap

First, the package from my sceond swap with KnitPastis, in all it’s spoiling splendor.

A close-up of the beautiful yarns she dyed: a green, brown, natural and yellow stripe inspired by just one simple picture I showed her comes to life. The other a beautiful yarn called Stone Mountain with tweedy flecks that is jut the perfect comination of blues and browns.

A cute hole puncher that cuts out butterflies, see?

An oh-so-soft hank of Crystal Palace Cotton Chenille for washcloths, and a pretty smelling lilac candle, and finally…

…these absolutely gorgeous Lantern Moon dpns that I am so not worthy of, and a hank of the new KnitPicks yarn BARE to dye, which is absolutely soft and wonderful. Everything is just too much and too fantastic, thanks so much KnitPastis!

And if that weren’t enough to make my day, then I opened the WEBS packages I had been waiting for.

Some Silk Garden in color #88 for those Smith Socks from Noro Knits.

A bunch of Jaeger Trinity that I couldn’t resist trying after seeing all the great knitting done by Lyn with it.

And some Elsebeth Lavold Silky Tweed in a pinky beige for the new (yes, again) Zephyr Style Rusted Root pattern. I can’t believe I never tried this stuff before—it feels even more wonderful than Silky Wool.

I’m exhausted now, gonna spend the whole day ogling my lovely new yarns and pressies. Enjoy your Sunday everyone!

Wow… your fabulous stash is making me drool!!! Trinity is a little dry and if you’re not used to cotton, may feel stringy as well. But I love the final result, the drape is beautiful and the tweedy bits add some interest. Been meaning to try Silky Tweed too… the colour you chose looks pretty!

Can I ask what size needle you are using for your CPH and what size you made. I measure 36 bust and started the 40 in cascade and it seems small. Thanks it looks great
