I tried, I really did…
I really tried to avoid the amazing WEBS summer sale. Really. Okay, so I browsed a couple of times a day. So I added things to cart and hit delete (many times). Then a really cool sale popped up at Knit Happens for like 4 days only. And once the damage was done there, I figured it was senseless to be so restrained with WEBS. Ah, logic.
My haul from KH: some Cash Iroha in a lovely pale green for Hourglass, some Rowan Cotton Tape in Electric (it’s really much more purple than the pic), Cascade 220 in #8013 Walnut Heather, AND, my very first koigu!
Yarns from WEBS haven’t even arrived yet, so it’s make room in the stash time. And that Cascade has already been magically knitting itself into the Central Park Hoodie from Knitscene:
I really got excited to start on this when I found and joined a great KAL for it. And when Ernesto came breezing through here these past couple of days, my chilly butt said “get working!”
I’m just speeding through the back piece.
The second piece of orangina is being worked on as well, but since it’s exactly the same as the first piece (only about 3 inches done), I won’t bore you with progress pics.

What a wonderful haul from WEBS! I just picked up some more Cotton Tape - I have made two things with it and really like it for spring/summer garments. That Koigu colorway is so pretty and perfect for fall
My friend is knitting up the same cardi - yours looks great!

I’ve got some Cascade 220 that I had stashed away for Rogue, but I’ve been wanting to make that hoodie ever since I bought the magazine. Yours is coming out great! What are you thinking of using as a closure?

Love the color of your hoodie & how fast it has knitted up. For mine which is knitted in 8-ply, the recalculation was not hard - just did a gauge & used that against the measurements given eg. my gauge was 20 sts per 10cm so I have to knit a size bigger than normal. Hope this is clear. Happy knitting.

Loving how the cables are poping with this Cascade 220 and the color is so yummy! HA! This is just the beginning of your Kogiu stash, watch out. You will soon find out why it’s so many peoples favorite sock yarn.
