Lots of pics to share this time around.
Ms. Marigold all finished and just in time for the last heat of the summer. I really love this top, it’s very wearable and comfortable.
In the end I chose to just do the single crochet border on the sleeves, mainly because I wanted to hurry up and wear it, and the ruffle would have taken another day. But I like it’s simplicity this way.
Also, been working on a pair of Heelless Sleeping Socks, from Knitting Vintage Socks.
Normally pooling bugs me, but I’m loving the way the pooling of the yarn is spiralling down on an angle along with the pattern.
The best part about this pattern? It looks just as great inside out, makes me think this stitch pattern would be lovely for wrist warmers.
The yarn is a new colorway I’ve created for the shop, called Nest Egg. It’s warm gray-browns mixed with a muted pale teal that I just love. (Opening date/time for sKNITches coming very soon, promise).
Next up is some planning for fall and winter projects. Hard to think about in this heat, but September is just around the corner already!

Love your marigold! I think I like it better without the ruffle, so yay! Like your socks too. About the wrist warmers, check out Last Minute Knitted Gifts. There is a pattern that looks very similar.
