the patterns keep on coming…
This little beauty has become my newest “I gotta have it” project. Meet Ms. Marigold:
Once again, from the wonderful zephyrstyle (photo from their site), yet another pattern to add to my summer knitting list. I’m so ordering this soon. It’s done in Knitpicks elegance, but I think I’d like to make it with Cotton Fleece or some other summer-friendly dk yarn.
Meanwhile, on the current knitting front, been moving along on cutaway.
Here’s the back just before I soaked it for blocking (please ignore that dark shadow in the bottom right corner that is my kitty’s butt). And I’ve gotten a bit done on one of the front pieces as well.
Because of the way the front panels curve, there’s lots of cable cast-ons at the end of rows. And even though the pattern is very clear, it’s still pretty confusing between that and alot of “at the same time” deals (and I was so good at following instructions in grade school). Fingers crossed that my sides match when I’m done!
