project overload
Finally gotten started on my first nautie, I know I said working in small circumferences is not my thing, but after seeing so many cute ones others are cranking out for the KAL, I know this little guy is going to be worth it.

I already want to make another one, but he will definitely be “jumbo-sized”.
Now, I admit it, I’ve been one of those people in the past who thought, “O.K. socks are cool, but all that time and money?” That is, until a couple of months ago…browsing around sock yarns online, seeing how creative everyone else has been with colorways and stitch patterns…I was a goner in no time.
So presenting my first sock, Jaywalker (what else?). Lovin’ the pattern, crazy for stripes, as you can see by my already growing sock yarn stash.
Not to be an enabler, but if you haven’t tried socks (though I think I’m one of the only ones who hadn’t) you really should. (enable enable enable)
Next up is the Green Gable top, already on the needles!

Hooray for socks, hooray hooray hooray! Can you please tell me the colorway of that sock you are making, and uh, the green/brown one there in your sock stash…heck, can you identify your entire stash, please?

I love that wide striping Regia. I am on the hunt for a good wide striping yarn. And Nautie is coming out very cute.

Don’t feel bad….I haven’t even started the sock craze yet either. Never knit a sock in my life. But I have a feeling it’s coming
