In trying to plan out new projects for the warmer weather, I stumbled upon all those things I had started to acquire but never got to last summer. It was the very beginnings of my learning to understand different yarns and quality yarns. I can remember thinking last october, “wow, I really don’t have much of a wool selection…” And now, it’s more like, ” well, I just don’t have enough summer yarns.” I’m beginning to see a pattern forming….

Anyway, here’s a rundown of what’s in store for spring/summer:

-fog green crystal palace kid merino- for rebecca’s eyelet wrap cardi
-jaeger celeste-a beautifully pale lavendar ribbon yarn for knitty’s ribbon x-back
-some cute orange cotton ease for a lelah tank
-lovely pale dusty rose cotton patine for grumperina’s picovoli or the new calla tank from magknits
-three shades of cascade pima silk for a striped chickami
-a big hank of taupe hpy lace for rowan’s butterfly tank
-some jaeger albany in pale blue for karabella’s cabled top
-deep navy ksh for weekend knitting’s fluffy lace cami and cowl
-silky wool for chicknits’ cutaway sweater (a short sleeve version)

On top of all this are other little gems like a one skein wonder, a hobo bag (inspired by zknitter’s great one), some jaywalker socks, Lily Chin’s reversible rib shawl, a clapotis in LL worsted, some reverse bloom washcloths, and some random One Skein projects, as soon as I get my hands on that coveted book.

A lot of projects….somehow I think I better get a jump on these things. Otherwise some may get pushed to next year. And we can’t have that. What excuse will I have for more summer yarns then?
