Warm & fuzzy all over…in a good way
Finally completed, after all those grafting problems, this sweater was worth the effort. A million thanks to everyone who kept me going.
It was a fairly easy pattern to follow. I’m still working on my seaming skills (must learn to take my time!), but overall I really love the fit and ease of it.
After blocking, the yarn softened up and relaxed nicely, and the grafting is hardly noticeable at all. I’m also really pleased with the color–funny since it’s sooo darn bright–but I’ll be wearing this one often. ![]()

Beautiful.
You make me rethink my decision to give up on Knitting.
But just for a few seconds, though.

It looks great! The seaming is not visible at all. How many skeins of cork did it take?

Thanks! I used every bit of 12 skeins (yarn doubled) for the 42″ size, but my gauge was slightly larger than the pattern called for, 12 stitches/16 rows.

Hi, I found your site by googling “carraway knitting” because I wanted to see if any other knitters had made it. I see it’s on your “future projects” sidebar. It is a beautiful sweater isn’t it? I want to make it as well.
I also made the lace leaf sweater, I love mine too. You are brave to do that kitchenering. I got copped out and had someone do that part for me.
It looks great on you.
