Don’t Call it a Comeback…
…so the title just goes with the hoodie.

project: Tweedy Hoodie, aka Central Park Hoodie
source: Knitscene, Fall 2006
yarn: Valley Yarns Williamstown - 11 balls
color: #10 Teal
needles: #6 & 8 needles
Ravelry page
Yes, to all of you who guessed right from my little preview pic in the last post, those cable chains could only be a Central Park Hoodie.

I went a little button crazy with this one, mainly because my original CPH didn’t seem to have enough. So now I have lots.

—pretty swirly brown buttons—

I decided to knit a new one of these, my very favorite, most-worn knit, because even though I really like my other one, I always sort of wished I had picked a tweedy yarn. That, and because my original one just fit when I made it, and there’s been a little “freshman 15″ since then (okay, so I’m long past a freshman anything, but that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.)

Fall was on the horizon, and PS Water just happened to include blues, so it was meant to be.

Now I’ve got my new tweed hoodie, I’m warm and toasty, and all is right with the world. Thanks to Lolly for hosting a terrific Project Spectrum, giving me lots of inspirations and lots more reasons to buy yarn. ![]()
