marking your territory
Here are some pics of my very first stitch markers, made from glass beads.

The first set in cream and reds, the other in nice purple tones….of course dangling them from a needle is sure to entice a certain 9 month old kitty to come flying into the room thinking it’s playtime.

Meet Chiyo, obviously the real star of the show.Must remember to keep these well hidden.

(:-O You knit, AK?!?!? I am SOOOO coming over to your house and have you teach me, or TOTALLY monopolizing your time if you go to HF next year. I’ve been WANTING to learn to knit forEVER. I crochet. But I only do afghans - zigzag patterns. The only thing I switch up is colors. I’m so boring. I’ll take some pics and upload them on my blog sometime.

I learned to knit around November, believe it or not, from pics and tutorials on the internet. It’s pretty easy, you should try it, if you can crochet (which I can’t — I think it’s more difficult) then you should have no problem. DEFINITELY post some pics, I’d love to check them out.
